Invasive Breast Cancer - Cancer that originates in the breast, such as the ducts (tubes that carry milk) or lobules (glands that make milk), and then spreads into surrounding, healthy breast tissue. Invasive breast cancer is more aggressive than in situ (or non-invasive) breast cancer, and can spread to other parts of the body (through the blood and lymph systems).
