Immune System

Immune System - The body's complex system of cells and organs designed to fight disease and infection. A disruption in the immune system may reduce the body's ability to protect itself from cancer and other illnesses. In cancer treatment, a technique known as immunotherapy (or biotherapy) uses the body's own immune system to fight certain types of cancer.
