Imiquimod

Imiquimod - An external application medication (or cream) that can be classified as an immune/biological response modifier. Imiquimod is prescribed in the treatment of different types of skin diseases, including certain skin cancers (superficial basal cell carcinoma or sBCC), as well as actinic keratosis and external genital warts. The brand name for imiquimod is Aldara^®.
