Image Enhancement - A practice in which measures are taken to address the physical effects that certain cancer treatments can have on the body, and ultimately on self-image. Image enhancement options may include plastic/reconstructive surgeries, cosmetic support, and coping techniques (e.g., hair loss tips) to help patients and their loved ones better prepare for, and cope with, changes in appearance.
