Gastric Cancer Treatment - Specific treatment options for gastric cancer vary, depending on the type and stage of the disease as well as a variety of other patient-specific factors. Surgery (e.g., subtotal gastrectomy, total gastrectomy, endoluminal stent placement) is often used to treat all stages of gastric cancer. In addition, radiation therapy and chemotherapy may also be used separately, or in combination with surgery, as gastric cancer treatment options.
