Emend^®

Emend^® - The brand name for the generic drug aprepitant, Emend^® is used to prevent nausea and vomiting that may be associated with surgery (e.g., post-operative nausea and vomiting) or chemotherapy treatments (e.g., chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting). When treating chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (CINV), Emend^® is given in conjunction with other antiemetic medications that prevent the brain from receiving signals that cause nausea and vomiting.
