Dysphagia - Pain or difficulty in swallowing. Dysphagia can be a symptom of some cancers, including esophageal cancer. It may also be symptomatic of an allergic reaction to certain anticancer medications.
Symptoms sometimes associated with dysphagia may include the following: pain while swallowing, inability to swallow, choking or coughing while eating, a sensation of food getting stuck in the throat or chest, frequent heartburn, etc.
