Adenocarcinoma - A form of malignant cancer that develops in cells of the glandular or secretory epithelial tissue that lines certain internal organs. Adenocarcinoma can occur in many different places in the body. The majority of lung, prostate and pancreatic cancers are adenocarcinomas.
