Cosmetic Image Enhancement
Our Cosmetic Image Enhancement program assists both women and men who are undergoing chemotherapy and radiation. We help them cope with appearance and body image issues. Our team will help you to prepare for hair loss and other cosmetic changes that may occur as a result of conventional esophageal cancer treatments. Our talented beauticians, cosmetologists and salon personnel can help you make the most of your appearance. We also offer helpful classes and seminars for that are open to esophageal cancer patients, as well as family and community members. The classes are designed to help you explore related body image issues and increase awareness and acceptance.
Plastic and Reconstructive Support
At CTCA, surgical oncologists work with a team of plastic and reconstructive surgeons. In many cases, the plastic surgeons can, per your request, perform restorative procedures immediately following or during esophageal cancer surgery.
