Extreme Drug Resistance for Esophageal Cancer

The EDR is a highly accurate test for solid esophageal cancer tumors, which determines how resistant it might be to different chemotherapeutic drugs. If the tumor cells grow in the presence of extreme exposure to a drug, this indicates a significant drug resistance where the patient will almost certainly be resistant to that drug. With this information, CTCA physicians can avoid unnecessary toxicity, consider other protocols for esophageal cancer treatment, in addition to minimizing costs.
