Intake Physician
Cancer Treatment Centers of America is a network of state-of-the-art cancer hospitals with locations in metro Chicago, Philadelphia, Tulsa, and metro Phoenix. We are currently seeking an experienced board-certified internal medicine physician to work full-time in an outpatient hospital setting to triage and evaluate our patient population for potential treatment options. This position opening is at our north suburban Chicago location—CTCA at Midwestern Regional Medical Center in Zion, Illinois.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with adult patients with complex and advanced-stage cancer. In this position, you will collaborate directly with medical oncologists to review previous history and make recommendations for further evaluation and treatment by the radiation oncology, surgical oncology and medical oncology teams. Our intake physicians typically see 10 new patients a day and do not take calls.
With an onsite office, Electronic Medical Records and an assigned nurse or healthcare extender, your time will be used exclusively to evaluate our patient population.
