Holidays and Vacations
Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) recognizes a total of 6 holidays each year and 2 personal holidays each year. Personal Holidays are prorated depending on status. In addition, Cancer Treatment Centers of America offers paid vacation.
Tuition Assistance
CTCA provides opportunities for employees to learn and grow. Tuition assistance for studies in a job related field are available to newly hired employees after six months of employment.
Center for Learning
CTCA offers stakeholders an awarding-winning corporate university—the Center for Learning.
The Center for Learning’s convenient online and on-site, instructor-led courses are designed to help stakeholders further their professional and personal growth. The innovative, transformational courses inspire and enable stakeholders to provide exceptional service and care to our patients.
Approximately 93 percent of our stakeholders have participated in a Center for Learning course. Stakeholders have a choice of taking courses in the university’s three distinct colleges/career development paths:
- Leadership & Cultural Excellence College – These courses align leadership skills with CTCA cultural competencies, helping stakeholders build business acumen and proficiency, and develop a world-class management team.
- Business Excellence College – These courses provide stakeholders with the tools and knowledge they need to enhance their management skills and perform day- to-day tasks in the workplace with greater dexterity and efficiency.
- Clinical Excellence College – Designed for people both in clinical and non-clinical roles at CTCA, these courses help stakeholders build communication skills with patients, physicians, managers, and others in a variety of disciplines.
The American Council on Education’s College Credit Recommendation Service has evaluated and recommended college credit for some of our course offerings.
In addition to the rich curriculum developed specifically with our stakeholders in mind, we have partnered with Strayer University. Stakeholders can enroll in Strayer’s online undergraduate and master’s programs and receive a tuition discount. Because Strayer’s courses are available online 24/7, stakeholders have flexibility to fit learning into their busy work- life schedules. This exciting opportunity also empowers stakeholders to grow their careers at CTCA.
