Kamorin Samson is a clinical oncology dietitian at CTCA at Eastern Regional Medical Center.
A registered dietitian, Samson earned a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from La Salle University in Philadelphia. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Houghton College in Houghton, NY.
Prior to joining CTCA in May 2013, Samson completed a dietetic internship at a hospital in Media, PA. During this time, she provided nutrition assessment and counseling to patients with a variety of disease states in an acute care setting.
Samson also conducted a research study on the effect of interdepartmental education as a quality improvement initiative at the hospital.
Samson has been actively involved in a local food co-op in Philadelphia, helping to bring local, sustainable, affordable food to an urban area. She has also been involved in research as an Internal Review Board Community Representative for the Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center in Philadelphia.
Samson is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the Pennsylvania Dietetic Association.
