Steve Rusinko is the Chief Financial Officer at Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) at Eastern Regional Medical Center in Philadelphia. He joined the
hospital in 2007 and oversees many departments including finance, patient financial advocacy, first connections, health information management, cancer registry, physician coding,
materials management, construction and plant operations. Mr. Rusinko’s major accomplishments at CTCA include developing the patient financial advocacy program, which assists
patients in overcoming financial and insurance barriers to treatment options. In addition, he is leading the hospital’s construction team with a 38,000-square foot clinical expansion to be
completed in 2012 and significant additional growth in the near future.
Additionally, Mr. Rusinko represents Eastern in a variety of other capacities, serving on the International Capital and Management Company advisory board and the MedAssets GPO
With over 30 years of experience in healthcare financial management, Mr. Rusinko held financial positions at several hospitals and healthcare institutions, most recently at Universal
Health Services, Inc. He is a member of several professional organizations and serves on the board of directors for Community Education Centers and Autism Cares Foundation.
Mr. Rusinko received a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Spring Garden College in Philadelphia and a Master of Business Administration degree in healthcare management
from Eastern University in Saint Davids, Pennsylvania.
