Many patients come to Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) with complex and advanced stage cancers. In addition, many others have been previously treated with traditional radiation and cannot tolerate more radiation exposure. Fortunately, innovative treatment options do exist for some patients.
The Department of Radiation Oncology at CTCA at Eastern Regional Medical Center (Eastern) offers advanced options in radiation therapy. Using sophisticated, state-of-the-art radiation technology, such as TomoTherapy® (HI-ART), the radiation oncology team is equipped to fight the disease.
