Nutrition classes
The Nutrition and Metabolic Support Department provides continued support through educational programs and classes on cancer and nutrition.
The following are some of the educational opportunities the nutrition team will provide for you throughout your care:
- Weekly nutrition class (e.g., topics on portion sizes, the benefits of five to nine servings of fruits and vegetables, etc.)
- Grocery shopping tours (e.g., choosing healthy, immune-supporting foods, reading food labels properly, etc.)
- Cooking demonstrations
