Who makes up the Infusion Center team?
Patricia Rudzinski, Infusion Center Manager, leads a team of 14 in the Infusion Center. “My role here is to make sure patients are getting everything they need,” says Rudzinski. A registered nurse with a Master of Science in Nursing degree, Rudzinski brings extensive oncology experience to her role.
There are currently six full-time registered nurses on the team, including Nicole Stallings. An oncology-certified registered nurse, Stallings plays an important role in the department. She assigns patients to nurses, monitors the daily schedule, and coordinates with the other departments, including inpatient nursing, guest services, care management, and pain management. The Infusion Center also has four part-time registered nurses and four patient care technicians.
Every nurse in the Infusion Center is chemotherapy certified. Two out of the six full-time nurses are also oncology certified, including Stallings. The others are all currently studying to become oncology-certified nurses.
“I have a great staff. They work well together and they are so great with the patients. I couldn’t ask for a better team,” says Rudzinski.
