Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) takes the art of healing to a new level by truly becoming a patient’s advocate. This patient-centered approach is very important to Dr. David Tabby.

A neurologist at Eastern Regional Medical Center, Dr. Tabby is responsible for addressing issues involving the direct or secondary effect of cancer on the nervous system. He believes in using all available tools in order to maximize a patient’s outcome; and is impressed with the way CTCA incorporates the spiritual element, and other complementary options, in the healing process.

A Philadelphia-native, Dr. Tabby graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his internship and residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.

For almost 15 years, Dr. Tabby was in private practice while teaching at the College of Osteopathic Medicine, Jefferson Medical College, Temple University School of Medicine, and MCP Hahnemann College of Medicine. Most recently, he was an Associate Professor of Neurology at Hahnemann University Hospital, as well as Director of Outpatient Services at Drexel University College of Medicine, where he served in dozens of educational and clinical capacities.

In addition to his role at CTCA, Dr. Tabby is currently an attending physician at Hahnemann University Hospital. He also belongs to several professional organizations, including the American Osteopathic Association and the American Academy of Osteopathic Neurologists & Psychiatrists, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Neurology.
