Aminah Keats is the Director of Naturopathic Medicine at Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) at Eastern Regional Medical Center.

A Fellow of the American Board of Naturopathic Oncology (FABNO), Keats earned a doctorate degree in naturopathic medicine from the University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine in Bridgeport, Connecticut. She earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia. Her studies included pre-medical coursework in biology, chemistry, physics, nutrition and botanical medicine.

Keats also completed a two-year residency in naturopathic oncology at CTCA at Midwestern Regional Medical Center in Zion, Illinois.

Keats has traveled to Pretoria, South Africa with a team of medical professionals to educate communities on HIV and AIDS. She also participated in the development of a botanical garden in Pretoria, where she taught seniors in the community the medicinal properties of the planted herbs.

In addition, Keats has led several lectures on integrative oncology for associations and naturopathic colleges. She has also led several patient discussion groups on natural therapies at CTCA at Midwestern Regional Medical Center and CTCA at Eastern Regional Medical Center, as well as the surrounding communities.

Additionally, she has been published in Naturopathic Doctor News and Review.

Keats is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, the Pennsylvania Association of Naturopathic Physicians, Society of Integrative Oncology and the Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians.
