Naini Kohli, ND
Naturopathic Oncology Provider

Naini Kohli, a naturopathic oncology provider at Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) at Eastern Regional Medical Center, describes why she loves working at CTCA: “Here, I found my concept of a near-perfect model of healthcare.”

Kohli earned a bachelor of medicine/bachelor of surgery (MBBS) degree from the Government Medical College and Associated Hospitals in Jammu, India. During this time, she completed over five years of medical training in basic and clinical sciences. Specifically, her training included a rotary internship in all major clinical sciences, including preventative and social medicine, as well as a junior residency in obstetrics and gynecology.

After her graduate training, Kohli enrolled in the University of Kashmir, also in India, where she earned a medical degree in obstetrics and gynecology. Kohli later earned a diploma in health and family welfare management from the National Institute of Health and Family Welfare in New Delhi.

While living in India, Kohli served as a medical officer, obstetrician/gynecologist, senior research officer and senior consultant for several hospitals, including Indraprastha Apollo Hospital in New Dehli. She also taught at Amity College of Physiotherapy as a senior lecturer in obstetrics and gynecologic education.

In 2006, Kohli moved to the United States to attend the University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine in Connecticut. There, she earned a doctorate degree in naturopathic medicine.

Kohli completed additional clinical training at CTCA before joining the naturopathic medicine team in 2009. She says of CTCA, “My search for a holistic approach to health led me to naturopathic medicine, and in CTCA I found what I had been looking for all these years.”

Kohli says CTCA provides a different experience than most other cancer hospitals because each staff member always wears a smile. When she is not tending to her patients’ naturopathic needs, Kohli enjoys reading, listening to music and poetry, and traveling.
