If you are visiting CTCA from outside of Philadelphia, we understand you may not feel like dealing with details such as where you will stay. Since most of our patients (about 70 percent) travel to our hospitals from out of town, we have a team in place to help with these details.
The Outpatient Accommodations team at CTCA at Eastern Regional Medical Center (Eastern) aims to make your visit as convenient, comfortable and affordable as possible.
As part of Eastern’s Outpatient Accommodations Department, the team is available seven days week from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. to address your questions and concerns.
On-site guest rooms
The hospital offers 18 on-site guest rooms on the fourth and fifth floors of the hospital. The guest rooms are available for outpatients and their caregivers.
Nearby lodging
If you are coming to us from out of town, the outpatient accommodations team will help arrange for your lodging at a nearby hotel. Typically, patients visiting the hospital for a short period of time stay at the Radisson Hotel, where CTCA offers a special reduced rate.
In addition, during your visit, you will have an opportunity to interact daily with other people fighting cancer, both at the hospital and at your hotel. CTCA patients occupy an average of 35 rooms per weeknight at the Radisson. The hotel also has a room set aside for CTCA patients and caregivers to socialize with each other.
Getting around town
During your stay, you don’t have to worry about how you will get around. Eastern’s Transportation Department will take you to and from your lodging site and the hospital, as well as on scheduled trips to area malls, restaurants and other local spots.
