Fran Reichel

Vice President of Clinical Oncology Services
Frances B. Reichel has been a registered nurse for more than 30 years with 15 years of experience in critical care, emergency room nursing, utilization review and discharge planning working in hospitals in Philadelphia, Montgomery County, New York City and Panama, Central America.
In her role as Vice President of Clinical Oncology Services at Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) at Eastern Regional Medical Center, Ms. Reichel is accountable for the leadership of care management, pharmacy, laboratory, radiation oncology, imaging, culinary and environmental services. Previously, as Vice President of Oncology Patient Services at Eastern, Ms. Reichel led and implemented the launch of the CTCA Patient Empowered Care® model, where patients sit comfortably in one room while each member of their interdisciplinary care team comes to them, one right after the other. The model has led to better communication and increased health literacy. Ms. Reichel also headed the implementation of comprehensive weekend services. Additionally, she led the development of a care management call center, a service available to CTCA patients from each of the four centers throughout the country. The service is available after normal working hours and 24/7 on weekends and holidays to respond to questions and concerns from patients who are at home.
Ms. Reichel is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives. She serves on the board of directors for Easter Seals and St. Catherine Laboure Medical Clinic.
