Interventional PulmonologyInterventional Pulmonology
Our cancer doctors use Interventional Pulmonology techniques alone or in combination with other cancer treatments to diagnose your cancer, treat tumors, and relieve symptoms that are limiting your breathing or causing pain.
Our Interventional Pulmonology Program treats lung cancer , and the related symptoms that can cause discomfort, like shortness of breath, coughing or chest pain, all without performing surgery. In addition to treating tumors, many of these techniques and procedures can significantly improve your quality of life.
Why We’re Different
Our Interventional Pulmonology program serves advanced stage and other complex lung cancer patients, many of whom have received previous cancer treatment. Our cancer doctors use bronchoscopy to deliver laser and other cancer-killing technologies to tumors buried deep inside the lungs.
How We Support You
At Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA), your lung cancer team includes oncologists and pulmonologists who work together to tailor these treatments to your specific needs. We’ll also provide supportive therapies, like nutrition therapy and oncology rehabilitation, to help preserve more of your lung function and reduce treatment-related side effects.
