Naturopathic Medicine
Naturopathic clinicians are specialists in natural health care who use natural, non-toxic therapies to support the whole person and encourage the self-healing process, with an emphasis on building health. At Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA), our goal is to minimize the risk of side effects during cancer treatment, and support your health.
Naturopathic treatment is always designed to support conventional cancer treatment. Since all of your care is handled under one roof at each CTCA hospital, your naturopathic clinician is able to consult regularly with your oncologist and the rest of your care team to monitor the progress of your treatment. The pain management team at Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) assesses your pain using a variety of tools. In addition to medication, your pain management regimen may include one or more of our supportive therapies.
For patients staying at the hospital, “comfort rounds” are conducted twice weekly. During these visits, pain management practitioners thoroughly evaluate current treatment approach and make any necessary modifications. Learn more
