Since 2012, Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA) has been a national sponsor of this National Public Radio program founded by Dave Isay to provide people of all backgrounds and beliefs with the opportunity to record, share and preserve the stories of their lives. These stories, which make up the largest single collection of human voices ever gathered, are preserved at the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress. Through this partnership with StoryCorps, CTCA® patients at all hospitals have had the opportunity to record their cancer journeys.
The StoryCorps mission is to preserve and share humanity’s stories in order to build connections between people and create a more just and compassionate world.
