Gateway for Cancer Research

gateway logoGateway for Cancer Research℠ was created by Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA) founder Richard J Stephenson as a way to fund innovative cancer research with the goal of saving the lives of today’s cancer patients. A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Gateway is a completely separate entity from CTCA and does not provide any funding to CTCA research. However, both share a commitment to innovation and compassionate patient care.

Thanks to CTCA generously underwriting Gateway’s administrative expenses, 99 cents of every dollar received directly funds cancer clinical trials.

Since 1991, Gateway has supported more than 120 Phase I and Phase II cancer clinical trials and funded leading-edge research, including blending conventional and supportive therapies. Gateway has funded researchers at some of the best cancer centers and academic institutions in the U.S., Canada, Israel and Switzerland. Trials include:

  • DNA vaccines to combat breast cancer
  • Nano-technology enhanced curcumin for advanced malignancy
  • Combination therapy for advanced lung cancer
  • Personalized cancer therapy for Lymphoma and Myeloma

Gateway brings together donors, patients, caregivers and researchers with a commitment to conquering cancer today.
