On Tuesday, Sept. 10, some patients at Center Treatment Centers of America at Midwestern Regional Medical Center in Zion had some special visitors.
Chicago Bears Defensive End Shea McClellin and Linebacker James Anderson made the rounds in the infusion area, stopping to visit and chat with patients and caregivers, taking time for photos and autographs.
Their visit was part of a cancer awareness for prostrate cancer prevention program. They also took time to commend the clinicians and employees at CTCA for their teamwork and dedication.
The Chicago Bears are working with CTCA to raise awareness that this cancer affects 239,000 Americans annually.
Visit CancerCenter. com/prostate for information about screenings and treatment options and to sign the pledge to help tackle prostate cancer.
For the first 10,000 people that sign the pledge, CTCA will donate $1 to "Know Your Stats."
