Doctors have diagnosed dozens of members of a Phoenix Valley family with cancer in what doctors admit is a medical mystery. Marty and Andy Cordova as well as 28 other relatives have all battled cancer. At just 19 years of age, Marty was diagnosed with colon cancer and came to Cancer Treatment Centers of America’s Western Regional Hospital for treatment and to help find out how and why this cancer is affecting his family. Marty, with the help of Western’s Dr. Weber, shares his personal journey with cancer, explores the genetic component of colon cancer and talks about the new options for detection and treatment available today.
