Patient Experience: CTCA vs. National Averages

Learn More About This Topic: Chat with Us | Email Us

At Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA), we take an individualized, personalized approach to each patient’s treatment. As part of that commitment, we constantly strive to provide a hospital experience that is as pleasant, convenient and stress-free as possible.

CTCA routinely surveys patients who are treating at our hospitals so we can continuously improve the patient care we provide. We also track the results of a U.S. government-administered patient survey called the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS), which is an important third-party assessment of hospital care from the perspective of the patient.

HCAHPS is a national program of the Department of Health and Human Services to collect and publicly report patient satisfaction data so that patients can make valid comparisons among various hospitals. You can use this data to compare CTCA’s in-patient experience results to the results of other hospitals.

On a scale of 0 (lowest) to 10 (highest) in the HCAHPS survey, most CTCA patients rate CTCA hospitals with a 9 or 10.
