Sequential Cytoreduction and Allogeneic Cell Therapy for Patients with Multiple Myeloma and Lymphoma

Summary

This study tests the effectiveness of a protocol which uses low doses of radiation and chemotherapy in stem cell transplant with multiple myeloma or lymphoma when it is performed following a traditional high dose chemotherapy and autologous stem cell transplant. This protocol is available to patients meeting eligibility requirements under the Stem Cell Transplant Program at Midwestern Regional Medical Center.

Requirements

  • Patients with a diagnosis of multiple myeloma or lymphoma        
  • Patients with MM must be between 18 and 70 years of age, 18-65 for lymphoma patients
  • Patients must have a healthy and available HLA-matched sibling donor
