Efficacy Study of AuroLase Therapy in Subjects With Primary and/or Metastatic Lung Tumors
Summary
This study is for patients who have either primary and/or metastatic tumors of the lung where there is airway obstruction. This single treatment session involves the infusion of ‘nanoparticles’ (AuroShell particles) that collect in tumors then treated with a laser, which heats the tumor cells and spares healthy tissue. This study will assess the safety of this therapy, as well as the efficacy of AuroLase therapy in destroying the targeted lesion.
