TDM4370g/BO21977: A Randomized, Multicenter, Phase III, Open-Label Study of the Efficacy and Safety of Trastuzumab-MCC-DM1 vs. Capecitabine + Lapatinib in Patients with HER2-Positive Locally Advanced or Metastatic Breast Cancer Who Have Received Prior Trastuzumab-Based Therapy
Summary
This study is for patients with HER2-positive locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer who have been treated with both Herceptin (trastuzumab) and a taxane (such as Taxol, Taxotere, or Abraxane). This study will assess and compare the effect of trastuzumab-MCC-DM1 (T-DM1) with that of capecitibine plus lapatinib on patients with HER2- positive locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer.
