Tumor molecular profiling for cervical cancer

Tumor molecular profiling for cervical cancer

If you have surgery or a biopsy, we’ll collect a sample of your cervical cancer tumor. Then, we’ll use tumor molecular profiling to test for the presence of a variety of enzymes and genetic mutations to identify which therapies are likely to be most effective.

  • By testing the cervical cancer chemotherapy drugs outside of the body, your care team can determine whether the drugs will work if administered in the body, thereby avoiding unnecessary toxicity to you.
  • This service also helps your care team determine the best combinations of chemotherapy to use for your particular type of cervical cancer.
