Tulsa airline gives patient a flight for treatment

Omni Air Transport has wanted for several years to help shuttle those in need, but it wasn't until recently that they were able to help a cancer patient get to Tulsa. Mary Howard, charter sales representative at Omni, said it happened that the charter airline had an opening on a flight from Washington, D.C., back to Tulsa International in late November, when the New York- based Corporate Angel Network called in a flight for Martin Berkofsky, who was going to the Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Tulsa for chemotherapy.
