On Tuesday, November 13th, Cancer Treatment Centers of America patients and stakeholders gathered together outside to plant the first seeds of their patient garden on the hospital's 25-acre organic farm. Emily McCann, reporter from the West Valley View, took the time to interview farmer and McClendon's Select owner Bob McClendon, Executive Chef Frank Caputo, SVP of Operations Matt McGuire, and CTCA patient, Chris Urwiller about how the idea for the farm was cultivated and the benefits it will provide for patients, stakeholders and community members.
