MedCity News looks at a first of its kind clinical trial now open at Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) in Philadelphia. The pilot study of NanoSpectra Biosciences’ AuroLase Therapy, approved by the FDA, will test an innovative approach to eliminate tumors using lasers and nanoparticles. It is the first time the technology is being used in the US to treat lung cancer.
