Fit solution; Hospital opens fitness center for cancer patients

The Cancer Treatment Centers of America Tulsa hospital has unveiled a 2,512-square-foot fitness center for its patients. The new facility is filled with treadmills equipped with personal TV monitors, elliptical machines, recumbent and upright bikes, free weights and other types of equipment.
"Our patients requested this fitness center, so it is very exciting for us to be able to honor that request," said Steve Mackin, Cancer Treatment Centers of America president and chief executive officer in Tulsa.
