Cancer research is heating up at Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) in Philadelphia. Radiation oncologist Dr. Curt Heese explains to CBS 3’s Pat Ciarrocchi how heat is helping treat tumors found in the pelvic region. Deep Tissue Hyperthermia is being offered in conjunction with radiation therapy to patients fighting prostate, cervical, ovarian, bladder and rectal cancers.
