Diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer motivated one mother to get her degree and fight instead of giving up on life. Today she is cancer free.
Monica Phillips learned of her diagnosis four years ago when she noticed a lump at home.
"When Dr. Citrin came in, he had a plan and took charge," said Phillips. "He is a teaching doctor, he really breaks things down so you'll understand."
