Cancer Treatment Centers of America broke ground in Newnan, Georgia on August 3, 2011, bringing a new option to patients throughout the Southeast. The 50-bed hospital, now under construction, is known for its holistic, patient-centered focus. Atlanta patient Janita Green joined public officials, community and business leaders, cancer patients, survivors and caregivers at the groundbreaking in Newnan. She chose to travel to Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Philadelphia after feeling like she didn’t have options in Atlanta.
