This article features Chris Overacker, five-year lung cancer survivor, who returned to Cancer Treatment Centers of America at Midwestern Regional Medical Center to attend Celebrate Life, an event held to honor five-year cancer survivors. Overacker was diagnosed with Stage III lung cancer that had spread to his chest and armpit. As part of his treatment plan, Overacker took advantage of the integrative treatment options available, using meditation and guided imagery. As part of the ceremony, 105 trees were planted in the Zion area to honor the courage and strength of the 2008 celebrants. A photo of Overacker and Stephenson appears on the cover page.
