This article features Terrece Crawford, a breast cancer survivor from Kenosha, WI who received treatment at Cancer Treatment Centers of America®  at Midwestern Regional Medical Center.  As a local artist, teacher and single mother of two boys, Terrece found art to be a form of therapy throughout her treatment.  One of her artistic pieces included painting a fiberglass horse as part of an artistic fundraising program called “Horsing Around Town” that raises public awareness and money for Special Methods in Learning Equine Skills, Inc., (SMILE). She painted the horse in support of breast cancer awareness.  Included with the article are three photos of Terrece with her art.
