The Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) logo encapsulates our patients’ experience and our motto, “Celebrate Life.” The tree in the CTCA logo is even more than a message of hope. It represents every tree growing in our hospitals’ Cancer Survivor Arboretums.
Each year, we plant a tree in honor of every CTCA cancer patient who has reached the five-year anniversary mark since he or she began treatment at CTCA. During this time, each CTCA hospital hosts a “Celebrate Life®” event to honor these survivors. We also add each survivor’s name to the “Tree of Life,” which hangs on the walls of each CTCA regional cancer hospital where they were treated.
At CTCA, when our survivors reach milestones in their cancer journey, we celebrate with them. We have already planted hundreds of trees to commemorate our survivors’ successes. Through these symbols of life, we want our patients to be inspired, and to never lose hope.
